Sandalia sti Stoa is a third generation business founded in 1941 creating handmade sandals in Kalamata, Greece. With clients from around the globe, Sandalia sti Stoa continues to excel in crafting high aesthetic sandals from quality materials in reasonable prices.
The logo depicts the store's arched front entrance (Stoa) in the Historic Center of Kalamata. Its gate shapes an icon of a sandal, with use of negative space., The brand's name set completes the logo.
In order to communicate the brand's philosophy through print and web media, we designed a "pluralistic" identity system. Οur purpose was to express the handmade tradition of the company and in the same time, to highlight the logo as a universal language. Therefore, we created various compositions that simulate the logo's form in different locations and everyday objects. These compositions were used in social media and postcards.
